So it’s the first game of the 2012 season. We learned a lot last year and are only getting better this year! The newest process we added this year was that a Zero Waste group would visit every stand and cart to pick up the compost. This process helps reinforce zero waste education and holds the groups accountable (in a good way) for clean compost. I personally like it because I don’t have to dig in as much waste! And, of course, it’s more efficient and successful. It’s a great win. As a result, we had our largest collection of compost yet in one game. We still have a few kinks to work out but it was a great start!
I’m happy to have found your blog. Great work! I love to see many minds contributing to this curriculum, speeding the sustainable living adjustment process!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read and comment on the post!
